GEVAM

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how GEVAM SAS ("we", "us") handles personal data in connection with this website, in line with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

1. Data Controller

GEVAM SAS di Genna Antonino — Vicolo Russo, 5, 93012 Gela (CL), Italy — VAT 02009460854. You can reach us at gela@gevamsas.com.

2. Data we may process

This website is informational and does not require registration or login. In the normal course of hosting a website, limited technical data — such as IP address, browser type, and access times — may be recorded automatically in our hosting provider's server logs, for security and technical operation purposes. We do not use this data for profiling, marketing, or any purpose beyond the ordinary operation and security of the site.

3. The contact form

The contact form does not submit data to us through this website or any server we operate. Pressing "Send request" opens your own email application with a message addressed to gela@gevamsas.com, pre-filled with what you typed. If you choose to send it, that email is handled entirely by your own email provider and, once received, by our normal business email — like any other correspondence. We don't add your details to a mailing list or share them with third parties.

4. Cookies

This website does not use profiling, analytics, or marketing cookies. See our Cookie Policy for full details on cookies and similar technologies.

5. Third-party services

This website's fonts are hosted directly on our own server — no data is shared with third parties for this purpose. If you click "Open in Google Maps" from the contact section, you will leave this website; Google's own privacy policy applies from that point on.

6. Data retention

Technical server log data is retained only for as long as necessary for security and operational purposes, in line with our hosting provider's standard practice. Any correspondence you send us by email is kept only for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry or, where a service agreement follows, for the period required by that agreement and by applicable law.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict the processing of data concerning you, to object to it, and to data portability. You can exercise these rights by writing to gela@gevamsas.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority — Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to the website or applicable law. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.

9. Contact

For any question about this policy or your data, write to gela@gevamsas.com.
